Safety Traditions: SOGAZ INSURANCE to Continue as an Official Partner of the Gazprom Neft Cup
SOGAZ Insurance Group confirmed its status of a permanent partner and the official insurer of the Gazprom Neft Cup KHL International Kids Hockey Tournament.
In the 2015 Tournament, SOGAZ INSURANCE will insure against accidents each of the 550 young hockey players for an amount of RUB 260 thousand. The insurance guarantees will cover the players around the clock throughout the tournament. All children (both from Russian and foreign teams) will be provided with services under the insurance plan for those traveling beyond the place of permanent residence which means that the company will cover the costs of emergency medical care (including emergency dental care) and transportation for up to $ 15 thousand for each child. During the tournament, SOGAZ INSURANCE representatives in charge of organizational support will be attending the games on the ice rinks.
SOGAZ INSURANCE will also insure liability of the tournament organizer (for RUB 250 million), as well the ultimate trophy of the tournament, the Gazprom Neft Cup.
“We have been working with the Tournament Organizing Committee for several years already, and we see it for ourselves how the status of the competition improves and how the Gazprom Neft Cup encourages development of children’s and youth ice hockey in the country,” said Sergey Ivanov, chairman of the Management Board, SOGAZ INSURANCE. “It is impossible to win if you lack confidence or feel unsafe. SOGAZ will do its best for the young athletes and their parents so they feel comfortable and secure. I wish you all good time during the tournament!”
